My husband is going to be heading off on his annual deer hunting trip. He hopes to be able to bag his limit. Some of my friends asked me if I minded him going off for a week to go deer hunting. No I actually like the fact that he goes hunting. I like deer meat but am not interested in going hunting myself. I am not what you would call a nature girl in any way. Anything that involves sleeping in a bag, cooking over a fire or dealing with bugs is not for me. My idea of a week vacation involves a pool, room service and a lot of sun. Besides this one week a year is when he gets to hang out with his friends from way back. They spend the week together catching up and hunting. No matter what is going on in their lives they all get together once a year to go deer hunting. I would never try and take that away from my husband. That would be trying to change him. I like him just the way he is.
