There are some camping items that will be necessary for me to take my first camping trip. I am in my thirties and have yet to go camping. My husband and kids would love to go, so I'll take the chance and give it a try. When I do, I will be bringing some amenities to try to be as comfortable as possible. Some camping gear that I know I will need is a tent and an air mattress. I have a back problem, so I can't sleep on the ground in a sleeping bag. Those are the number one camping gear items I'll need. After that I want to bring camping cookware, and a camping stove for the convenience of cooking, and not on an open fire. I will also need hiking boots and gear, so we can go hiking and explore the great outdoors. All of this camping gear is essential for my very first camping trip when I do finally go. Hopefully next summer will be the time to spend awhile camping with my family.
